These toothy faces are all over my town... I'm not sure who is responsable, it's reminiscent of Shepherd Fairey... but I'm not sure. More research is required... they are fascinating though.

Building on Building

In the Castro district is a fantasy world that has surfaced on the side of this old San Francisco Building...

It is a city of chaos, inhabited by buildings of all sizes and animations... of elephants,

and birds...

... someday it may break free of this wall and reach out into the sky...

Shepard Fairey and Punk Rock...

You've probably seen his work...


Shephard Fairey is currently one of the most successful street artists of this age. Most recently his portrait of now President Obama was acquired by the national Portrait Gallery. His "Obey" stickers and stencils are widely distributed across the country...
